Application submissions for the 2018 Extreme Tour are now open!
The Extreme Tour presents its 26th year of Extreme Sports and Music events around the globe! All over the U.S.A. & Canada, and all the way to Japan, India, Europe, The Caribbean, and more.
The Extreme Tour accepts applications from artists, athletes, and performers of all kinds who want to perform or participate in any of the events we are doing around the world. Approved bands can apply to perform as much or as little of the tour schedule as they are available for. The Extreme Tour takes care of travel expenses like housing and food on varying levels for approved artists, and some artists will be compensated for their participation with an additional travel stipend. The U.S. Tour plans to select up to 150 bands this year. The International tour teams plans to accept up to an additional 35 bands based on availability of slots and performances.
The Extreme Tour reviews all applications for any of the international or domestic teams through a multi-step consideration and approval process described on our Application Process Information page.
We are currently only accepting applications from artists we have been communicating with previously, and to whom we have granted "Preferred Applicant" status. Those artists have been provided a code to use in order to apply at the "Preferred Artist" link below.
IF YOU ARE UNCERTAIN IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A "PREFERRED ARTIST" REFERRAL, OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST CONSIDERATION FOR A REFERRAL, PLEASE CONTACT firstname.lastname@example.org.

As we work with community organizations that provide direct services to minors; and as our artists often interact with these youth both on and off stage, we are required to do some amount of “due diligence” on each applicant. There are no "buy ons" or "pay to play" fees required of artists if selected. Applicants may be required to provide references and/or sign a digital consent form for the in-house background check that is conducted to help us meet the policy requirements and expectations of the agencies we partner with in the communities we visit. We do also charge an application submission fee which is meant to serve as a sort of filter and helps defray administrative expenses we incur during the application review and artist vetting process. No other fees are charged to the applicant in order for the submitted application to be reviewed or approved, though.
We are a federally recognized non-profit organization, and our funds are managed by New Hope, a separate charitable organization, for the purposes of transparency and oversight. These donations go exclusively to the administrative expense of The Extreme Tour application review and artist prep process. New Hope does not keep any portion of these funds.
